Tinto Hill is one of the most popular hill walks in South Lanarkshire, known for its wide, well-trodden path and huge panoramic views from the summit. On a clear day, you can see across the Clyde Valley and out towards the Southern Uplands and beyond.
The climb is a steady, moderate ascent suitable for most reasonably fit walkers, and the large summit cairn is a rewarding landmark to aim for.
With a car park at the foot of the hill, it's an easy walk to build a morning or afternoon around.
